Visiting from Facebook? Welcome!
Hi there, thanks for visiting. Here's the sitch, I am pretty obsessed with Rythm, they do cool things and I believe I can really push their mission forward. Check out the project I made for them and if you agree, let's work together on this.
My problem: I am from VA, so amassing local connections and referrals for this has been tough.
My Solution: If you believe in me and my work, let's talk and see what we can do.
Reward: When I move to San Francisco, as a neurotech marketer, I take you out for lunch. On me!

Hi, I'm Andrew Frawley
I believe in enabling wearable devices to provide users with a life changing experience.
I have done immense research on Rythm, found many overlaps in ambitions and have been obsessed ever since. |
Rythm and the Dreem First Program Launch
A team assembled from all over the world, Rythm has gathered some of the brightest minds from a multitude of industries to essentially, build a new one. Beyond being some of the sharpest minds in their fields, within all members of the Rythm team resides one single DNA strand that makes them standout. It's an intangible desire that is sometimes difficult to articulate but can be summarized by this following quote-
"A common vision to change the world by better understanding the human brain"
|
"The goal isn’t just to make a cool sleep-improvement gadget, but to build the largest neurotechnology company in the world."
- TechCrunch |
Immediate and Future Needs for Rythm
1. Hearing the User
For Rythm and the beta launch, picking the right people and detailing their initial thoughts is in the foundation of launching a successful program. The user must be comfortable enough to speak up and curious enough to involve themselves. In addition, feedback must be heard, broken down and used to find actionable trends to learn from.

2. Educational Content
It is important for Rythm to be readily available with clear and concise educational content for the beta users. A new-to-world product requires education and with an upcoming global launch, the idea of education becomes far more prevalent. Users must be so well understood that content answering their questions is built and made available for them before they have their questions.

3. Public Relations
Part of educating the public isn't just content, but reaching users through some of their most natural channels. With the potential of a full product launch by 2017, Rythm faces the great task of building and maintaining favorable relationships with the press. The process of winning over large amounts of users doesn't just come from having press, but instilling excitement into the words of the editors through the time invested into those relationships.

How I Can Add Immediate Value
Hearing the UserI love getting grass root and interacting with customers. I did it for three years with Southern Tide. In addition to that, I love trends and there is going to be a ton of work to do in analyzing the feedback from the beta launch. I get excited by the thought of building out identities, profiles and putting those insights into action.
I did some research and built out a customer archetype for the ideal beta user of the Dreem First program. While these users are mostly picked by now, I am happy to show how my mind works.

Content GenerationContent is hugely important but it's sometimes easy to place it on the back burner, especially if you are busy building a new industry.
While not a dreadfully urgent need today, building out the content before a full launch can be the difference between a good first month and a great first month. I wanted to show how I could help with content immediately (and down the road). Here's a sample piece explaining the sleep epidemic. |
PR Lead GenerationAs we all know, public relations isn't just getting your name in the news. It's about getting your name in the news, in the right places at the right times.
It's also a lot of ground work gathering those key contacts. I am a firm believer in action and adding value, so I did my best to gather some industry relevant contacts to assist in that task.

Why This Matters
As many know, startups operate much more differently than a normal company. They move really fast, employees have low bandwidth and sometimes the little day-to-day tasks that are ever so critical get pushed to the side. While it can be tough to identify all of those needs from the outside, I am committed to see that those gaps are filled. I am not afraid to take initiative, identify areas of need and get my hands dirty. It is essential for any team to have the bolts to their ship screwed in tight during their initial launch and I am more than happy to ensure that is done. I aim to find immediate needs and help where I can to push forward the revolution of neurotechnology.
Why I Want to Help Rythm
- I believe in the revolution
- I see a real opportunity to help
- I find energy in providing people with a life changing experience
- I trust in founders of the company
- I sit atop Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs
Why It's a Long-Term Fit
Being deeply inspired by many entrepreneurs and revolutionaries such as those alike Steve Jobs and Elon Musk, I have reached a point in my life where I no longer believe in impossible and have only begun to pursue my deepest ambitions. These revolutionary leaders have helped me realize that, and to quote Steve -
"people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do"
"people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do"
- I am not here to just market neurotech, I am here to learn and embody neurotech
- I will work harder than anyone else to maximize the value I input everyday
- I understand neurotechnology is in an infant phase
- I love being around smart people
- I believe in the cultivation of a long-term investment
- I am intrigued by the possibilities of where the technology can go and want to be there for every step of the way
Where I Can Fit on the Team
Content & StrategyI have an expertise in content and strategy. I have an innate skill set in story telling and driving results. If you want clicks, if you desire sign-ups, awareness or just overall education, I find ways to communicate that. I find the right channels and analyze the data to produce even better results. I compete with numbers.
Business DevelopmentPart of my personal development has been selling. As you experienced, I know how to find a lead, how to gather contact information and further generate interest. While there is no "sales" position on my resume, I build relationships, I know how to fail and I've been pitching myself for four years as I battled for internships.
|
Community EvangelistAs a natural communicator I have only leveraged this in my life to further hone my skills. I have no barriers to building relationships and as an UBER driver, I have championed small talk. I know how to empower someone in a relationship, when to listen and when to share my story. I'd love to share the Rythm story.
Neurotech Pioneer in TrainingAs someone in pursuit of intelligent, ambitious and hardworking colleagues, I have no barriers to play whatever role I need to get in the door. I am blindly passionate about wearable neurotech and I would be thrilled to knockout some smaller tasks as I learn the ropes. Cold calls, pitch decks, customer follow-up, whatever it takes.
